In this project you use the file GPS.TXT to store GPS data when the car is stolen. After finding the car and resetting the Arduino to have the system working again, how do you cancel all the old data in GPS.TXT file? Without this action the system, in case the car is stolen again, will display again the old data...together whit the new ones.

Thanks

Hi antonipa,

In the example that we have developed You need to remove this data manually.

The tutorial is a proof of concept, you can modify it as you want. That is, we teach to use our board and then it is the client who can take the code, correct it, add, remove everything you want for your particular application.

Thanks.

Regards

Yes, I understand and for this reason I've modified the code to my needs. I wqs only asking for a support and if possible an example how to cancel the gps.txt data every time the system is restarted.

Thanks

Hi antonipa,

Sorry but we haven't got more examples for that purpose.

We are happy to see that you have modified the code for you needs. We hope you can develop it without problems.

Regards
